We get a little bored of the same Christmas tunes each year. We wanted to try and do something a little different.

Mothbox asked 5 rather talented artists to write a Christmas song. We wanted them to think outside the...usual framework of a Christmas song, The results are thus. A nihilist's annual flirtation with ultimate despair, a boy having their dreams crushed, an instrumental about a dog, (and nostalgia) an ancient, forgotten King and a desire to be left alone. Not exactly Cliff Richard.
